Resettlement Policy Framework definition

Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the resettlement policy framework adopted by the Recipient on January 20, 2011, setting forth, inter alia, a brief description of the Project and components for which land acquisition and Resettlement are required, the principles and objectives governing Resettlement preparation and implementation, and a description of the process for preparing and approving site-specific Resettlement Action Plans.
Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the Borrower’s framework, dated November 15, 2010, acceptable to the Bank (included in the Environmental and Social Management Framework) which sets forth, inter alia, the principles and objectives governing Resettlement preparation and implementation, and a description of the applicable legal framework of the Borrower and of each Participating Province and the process for preparing and approving resettlement plans under Section I.E.3 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement.
Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the Resettlement Policy Framework of the Recipient dated December 16, 2008, as the said framework may be amended and/or supplemented from time to time with the prior concurrence of the Association, setting forth the modalities for resettlement and compensation of Affected Persons under the Project and referred to in Section I.D.1 of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as the same may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association.

More Definitions of Resettlement Policy Framework

Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the Framework dated February 2004, agreed upon between the Borrower and the Association for the resettlement and rehabilitation of the Affected Persons;
Resettlement Policy Framework means the Recipient’s framework, dated December 2006, agreed with the Association for the resettlement and compensation of persons affected by potential changes in land use associated with activities to be implemented under the Project, as the same may be updated from time to time with the concurrence of the Association, and such term includes any schedules to the Resettlement Policy Framework.
Resettlement Policy Framework means the Resettlement Policy Framework, dated August 20, 2003, which sets out a framework of principles and procedures governing land acquisition, resettlement and compensation, as well as reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said framework, as said framework may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Association;
Resettlement Policy Framework or “RPF” means the Recipient's policy framework dated May 2009, providing procedures and guidelines for the preparation, adoption, implementation, supervision and monitoring of a resettlement action plan or plans and referred to in Section I.H of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as said framework may be amended from time to time with the prior written approval of the Association.
Resettlement Policy Framework or “ RPF” means the Resettlement Policy Framework of the Recipient dated June 26, 2009, and disclosed at the World Bank’s Infoshop on July 1, 2009, outlining the policies and procedures to be implemented in the event that specific activities implemented under the Project have potentially negative impacts on the livelihoods, assets and land of the affected population, as the said framework may be amended and/or supplemented from time to time with the prior written consent of the World Bank, and such term includes any schedules to such document.
Resettlement Policy Framework means a document adopted by the Borrower which sets forth policies and procedures to be followed in case of land acquisition and/or resettlement which might be required for carrying out of a Sub-project, including the requirements for preparation of land acquisition plans or resettlement action plans; and such document constitutes an integral part of the Operational Manual.
Resettlement Policy Framework or ‘RPF” means the Recipient’s document entitled “Projet d’Appui à la Diversification Agricole – Plan Cadre de Recasement des Populations (P.C.R.P)” dated December 2010, containing guidelines, procedures, timetables and other specifications for the provision of compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement assistance to Displaced Persons, as amended from time to time with the prior written consent of the Association.
