Reserve Lands definition

Reserve Lands means lands within the Reserve.
Reserve Lands means lands which are designated as reserve, community reserve, municipal reserve, school reserve or municipal and school reserve, but shall exclude environmental reserve and community service reserve.

  • The Band agrees with Canada that the execution of this Agreement shall not entitle the Band to any funding per capita in addition to the existing program funding from the Department for the development of infrastructure or capital expenditure for any improvement to Reserve and/or Entitlement Reserve Lands, provided that the Band shall be entitled to apply on a per capita basis for existing or any future program funds.

  • It is the intent of the Parties that the Selected Lands shall not be Reserve Lands subject to the Indian Act (Canada), and, in particular that Sections 35 and 36 of the Indian Act (Canada) shall have no application to the Selected Lands.

More Definitions of Reserve Lands

Reserve Lands means any lands that have been provided by a registered owner as municipal reserve (MR) or municipal and school reserve (MSR) (in each case, such terms shall not include lands held as environmental reserve) under the provisions of the Municipal Government Act;

Reserve Lands means lands within the existing reserves, and also includes all Compensation Lands under the 1996 Implementation Agreement, lands selected, or to be selected under the TLE Agreement, or Treaty 5 including any oral promises made in relation to population growth and land disparity, and any other lands which become reserve lands for the use and benefit of NCN and its Members pursuant to the Indian Act (Canada) and any successor legislation.
