Replacement Energy definition

Replacement Energy means Energy purchased by Buyer as replacement for any Delivery Shortfall.
Replacement Energy means energy produced by a facility other than the Facility that, at the time delivered to Buyer, qualifies under Public Utilities Code 399.16(b)(1), and has Green Attributes that have the same or comparable value, including with respect to the timeframe for retirement of such Green Attributes, if any, as the Green Attributes that would have been generated by the Facility during the Contract Year for which the Replacement Energy is being provided.
Replacement Energy means Energy, regardless of whether it is produced by a renewable power plant, that may fully replace the Net Energy procured under this Agreement.

Examples of Replacement Energy in a sentence

  • In the event that a price for Replacement Energy is not reasonably available for consideration, the price per kWh for Replacement Energy required above shall be the average of the two price quotes received from two (2) reputable and experienced brokers of energy selected by Buyer for such purpose.

  • To the extent not inconsistent with the Power Purchase and Security Agreements or other applicable Project Agreements, SCPPA may also be reposed with responsibilities for planning, designing, financing, developing, acquiring, insuring, contracting for, administering, operating and maintaining the Project to effectuate the delivery and sale of such share of Facility Output or Replacement Energy, as applicable, to Purchaser.

  • During the term of the Power Purchase Agreement, SCPPA shall purchase and provide and Purchaser shall purchase from SCPPA and receive its Output Entitlement Share of the Facility Output or Replacement Energy as delivered at Purchaser’s Designated Point of Delivery in accordance with the Power Purchase Agreement.

  • With respect to a particular Project Participant and during each Power Supply Year, the percentage entitlement, as set forth for such Project Participant in Appendix B of this Agreement, of the Facility Output or, if applicable, the Replacement Energy, delivered at such Project Participant’s Designated Point of Delivery.

Replacement Energy means energy purchased by ▇▇▇▇▇ as replacement for any Delivery Failure relating to the Energy to be provided hereunder.

Replacement Energy means Energy purchased by Buyer as replacement for any Delivery Failure relating to the Scheduled Energy to be provided hereunder.
