Remote Instructions definition

Remote Instructions means instructions given to the Financial Institution with respect to the operation of the Account from a remote location, using a computer, a Mobile Device, fax, via the Financial Institution’s online banking system, email, text message transmission, or other remote communication acceptable to the Financial Institution to operate the Account or authorize Transactions and make arrangements with the Financial Institution.

Remote Instructions means instructions given by an Authorized Signatory and/or Authorized User to the Financial Institution with respect to the operation of the Account from a remote location using a computer, portable hand-held device, telephone, mobile telephone, fax, via the Financial Institution’s online banking system, email, text message transmission, or other remote communication acceptable to the Financial Institution in order to operate the Account or authorize Transactions and make arrangements with the Financial Institution.

Remote Instructions means instructions given by the Authorized User to the Credit Union from a remote location using telephone, cellular, facsimile, or email transmission in order to operate the Account or make other transactions and arrangements with the Credit Union.

• You may provide Remote Instructions to any branch of the Credit Union as permitted by us, online through the Electronic Services, through our mobile application, or through our telephone banking service, if any.

• The Remote Instructions may concern the Account maintained at that branch, or concern other Transactions and arrangements conducted at or with that branch.‌ We may, but will not be obliged to, act on Remote Instructions received in your name along with any requisite Password or such other form of Proof of Identity, if any, to the same extent as if the Remote Instructions were written instructions delivered to us by mail and signed by you or such other person authorized to operate the Account.

• Remote Instructions can be transmitted to us at the telephone or fax number or email address or any other digital means we identify for transmission of information provided by the Credit Union, or at such other telephone or fax number or email address or any other digital means we identify for transmission of information as we may advise you by notice in writing, or online through the Electronic Services.

Remote Instructions means instructions given to Alterna with respect to the operation of the Account from a remote location, using a computer, portable hand-held device, telephone, mobile telephone, fax, via Alterna's online banking system, email, text message transmission, or other remote communication acceptable to Alterna in order to operate the Account or authorize Transactions and make arrangements with Alterna.

Remote Instructions means Instructions given to Vancity with respect to the operation of the Account, other than in person at one of our branches, using an Account Access Device, including through Mobile Banking, Telephone Banking, Online Banking, or other Remote Access Services, by email, text message transmission, or other Digital or Electronic Representation, or verbally by telephone or mobile phone, to access or operate the Account or authorize Transactions or use Services.
