Remote Hands definition

Remote Hands means general Customer directed actions such as power cycling equipment, basic power or data cabling support, and simple key stroke commands to reboot or configure equipment.
Remote Hands means the facility for the Customer to request BT personnel to carry out the routine tasks detailed in Section 8 of this Service Schedule.
Remote Hands means the technical support to be performed by Customer’s staff, which includes diagnose, troubleshoot, installation and repair of the Designated Hardware at any time of day or night, including weekends and holidays.

Examples of Remote Hands in a sentence

  • For purpose of the Remote Hands Goal, the duration of a Service Outage shall be deemed to commence upon the initial request for Remote Hands service by Customer and ends when the Remote Hands service has been initiated by LightEdge.

  • The chosen Remote Hands Package level may only be downgraded at the Initial Term or a renewal terms (as applicable).

  • The Response Time Targets depends (i) for Colocation Services, on the applicable Remote Hands Package, and (ii) for any other Services, on the applicable Service Level.

  • In addition, Leaseweb shall be entitled to invoice Service Fees for all Remote Hands Services provided to Customer in excess of the Time Included, on a time spent, basis, at the prevailing Leaseweb hourly rate for performing the particular Remote Hands Services (plus its expenses related to the performance of the Remote Hands Services, including any traveling expenses if applicable).

  • The applicable hourly rate may depend on the chosen Remote Hands Package.


More Definitions of Remote Hands

Remote Hands means assistance by BT or the Site Owner to carry out routine tasks on behalf of the Customer at the nominated Rack Space in accordance with the Customer’s instructions.
Remote Hands means the name for a service offered by colocation providers that allows customers to delegate IT management and maintenance tasks within a colocation facility to technicians provided by the supplier;
Remote Hands means a Service whereby an on-site technician will be available to expeditiously access Buyer’s equipment within one (1) to three (3) hours from the time Buyer’s call is received in Seller’s NOC to (i) physically re-boot Buyer’s servers or equipment; (ii) install or remove Buyer’s equipment (i.e. changing out cards and/or removing cards) (iii) physical cable termination or removal of Buyer’s equipment and/or (iv) any other reasonable physical activity requested by Buyer which Seller agrees to perform. For the sake of clarity, Remote Hands does not include (i) log in to Buyer’s equipment; (ii) metric reporting tools such as memory, CPU and virus statuses; (iii) firewall services; (iv) managed tape backups and/or (v) performance monitoring and status reports. The Remote Hands Service is available only for Colocation Services purchased by Buyer from Seller at Seller’s applicable sites.

Remote Hands. (on-site services) means assistance by BT to carry out routine tasks on behalf of the Customer at the nominated Footprint in accordance with the Customer’s instructions. Such tasks may include:
