Release Management definition
Release Management means all activities surrounding the planning, preparation and scheduling of a Release;
Release Management means the process adopted for planning, scheduling and controlling the build, test and deployment of releases of IT updates, procedures and processes. Relevant Device has the meaning given to that expression in Section L10.30(a) (Definitions).

Release Management means the management service to be provided by the Supplier as described in schedule 2.1 (Services Requirements) to manage the release process which includes the planning, packaging, scheduling, testing, authorising and implementation of Releases;]
Release Management means the set of rules used and the activities performed to imple- ment a set of authorised changes and defect corrections in a new version of the T2S Business Application, as set out in Schedule 9 (Change and Release Management). ‘Relevant Competent Author- ity’ means any organisation having regulatory, supervisory or over- sight authority over the Contracting CSD or a Participating CSD (as required by the context). ‘Schedule’ means a Schedule to this Agreement. ‘Securities Account’ means an account maintained by a CSD to which securities may be credited or debited. ‘Securities Maintaining Entity (SME)’ means an entity, typically a CSD that has been assigned the re- sponsibility for maintaining the reference data for a security in T2S. ‘Securities Reference Data’ means the business information for a financial instrument, ex- cluding any CSD-specific attributes, that isunder the responsibil- ity of the SME and available to all Participating CSDs, that T2S stores and requires for processing settlement instructions-related operations, including the calculation of cash penalties in the con- text of the T2S Penalty Mechanism service.
Release Management means the discipline responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the movement of Releases to test and live environments. The primary objective of Release Management is to ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that the correct components are released. Release Manager means the resource responsible for leading the Release Management process.
Release Management means the set of rules used and the activities performed to implement a set of authorised changes and defect corrections in a new version of the T2S Business Application, as set out in Schedule 9. ‘Relevant Competent Authority’ means any organisation having regulatory, supervisory or oversight authority over the [NCB], or a Connected NCB or a Participating CSD (as required by the context). ‘RTGS Participants’ means participants in the RTGS System that are considered as participants according to the national implementation of Article 2 of Settlement Finality Directive [OR if the NCB is established outside the European Economic Area: participants in the [NCB’s] RTGS System that enjoy an equivalent protection to that in force for ‘participants’ as defined in Article 2 of the Settlement Finality Directive]. ‘RTGS System’ means a Real-Time Gross Settlement System operated by the [NCB] or by another Central Bank (as required by the context) which is connected to T2S to provide liquidity in [currency] to T2S. ‘Schedule’ means a Schedule to this Agreement. ‘Second T2S Protocol’ means the protocol signed by all Eurosystem CBs the purpose of which is for the Eurosystem CBs to grant each other a power of attorney to sign the Framework Agreement with the CSDs in the name and on behalf of all the Eurosystem CBs. ‘Securities Account’ means an account maintained by a CSD to which securities may be credited or debited.
