Release Effective Date definition

Release Effective Date means the date the Release becomes effective and irrevocable.
Release Effective Date means the date, which must occur during the Release Period, on which the Release becomes effective and is no longer revocable by the Participant.
Release Effective Date means, if the Executive is covered by the OWBPA on his Termination Date, the later of: (i) the eighth (8th) calendar day after the execution of the Release, provided that the Executive has not revoked the Release prior to such date, or (ii) the Termination Date. If the Executive is not covered by the OWBPA on his Termination Date, the Release Effective Date means the later of: (i) the date on which the Release is executed by the Executive, or (ii) the Termination Date.

Examples of Release Effective Date in a sentence

  • No other promises or agreements are binding unless in writing and signed by each of the parties after the Release Effective Date (as defined below).

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the sixty (60) day period does not begin and end in the same calendar year, then the Release Effective Date shall occur no earlier than January 1st of the calendar year following the calendar year in which your termination occurs.

  • Within five (5) days following the Release Effective Date, the Company will pay Executive the Separation Benefits Executive would otherwise have received on or prior to such date but for the delay in payment related to the effectiveness of the Release, with the balance of the benefits being paid as originally scheduled.

More Definitions of Release Effective Date

Release Effective Date shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4(a)(i).
Release Effective Date means the eighth day following the Release Expiration Date, provided that the Employee executes the Release on or prior to the Release Expiration Date and does not timely revoke Employee’s acceptance of the Release within the seven day period following the Release Expiration Date.
