Reinsured definition

Reinsured shall be understood to mean “Company”, “Reinsured”, “Reassured” or whatever other term is used in the attached reinsurance document to designate the reinsured company or companies.
Reinsured has the meaning set forth in the Preamble. The term “Reinsured” as used herein shall include any predecessor or successor of such companies, including by reason of merger, consolidation or otherwise.
Reinsured means a person who has entered into a Reinsurance Agreement as a reinsured.

  • Since January 1, 2022, all advertising or marketing materials relating to the Reinsured Contracts that were required to be filed with FINRA or any other Governmental Authority have been timely filed therewith, except for any failure to file as would not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to have a Business Material Adverse Effect.

More Definitions of Reinsured

Reinsured means the Insurer or Insurers of the Original Policy;
Reinsured means the insurance company or reinsurance company to which the PRINCIPAL issues an ORIGINAL REINSURANCE CONTRACT through the AGENT.

Reinsured has the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 1.3(d).
Reinsured shall have the same meaning as “Insurer” under the Act and “Insured Losses”, and “Program Year” shall follow the definitions as provided in the Act.
Reinsured or “Reinsureds” means the named reinsureds under any Reinsurance Contract. After the applicable Transfer Date, Reinsureds shall only have the right to file claims arising under such Novated Contracts directly with the Buyer. The Reinsureds shall have a direct right of action against the Buyer and the Buyer hereby consents to be subject to direct action taken by any Reinsured. The rights of any Reinsured shall be limited to and consist of those rights set forth in the applicable Novated Contract (including any amendment to such Novated Contract) and no Reinsured shall have the right to receive a greater amount under such Novated Contract than such party would have had in the absence of this Agreement.
Reinsured means each named reinsured who is a party to a Reinsured Contract.
