These are related to the Notice of Violation that was issued by the Regional Board on April 13, 2017 regarding the discharge on 2.5 million gallons of treated wastewater to land application areas in violation of the Waste Discharge Requirements during the severe and prolonged wet weather period in early 2017; these are the subject of a separate enforcement action but are listed in the TSO.
Purpose and Methodology CThe purpose of this memorandum is to provide an analysis of compliance with Orders issued by Tthe Regional Board.
Mr. Watson explained that it is to help get into compliance with the Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Board) by trying to get the standards changed.
Mr. Watson responded that coordination will happen with the Regional Board and he noted that he’s had meetings with the Regional Board and they were open to his idea, but were not going to commit to anything without seeing the data.
