Examples of Redeemable Securities in a sentence
Redeemable Securities may be redeemed otherwise than through the operation of the Sinking Fund provided for in Article Twelve at the election of the Company at the times, on the conditions and at the Redemption Prices specified therein, in (or pursuant to) the Authorizing Resolution relating thereto and in the supplemental indenture (if any) executed in connection with the issuance of such Securities, any Redemption Price to be accompanied by accrued interest to the Redemption Date.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of any Redeemable Securities which are to be redeemed prior to their respective Stated Maturities, no deposit under this paragraph shall be deemed sufficient to pay and discharge such Securities as aforesaid until proper notice of such redemption shall have been given in accordance with Article XI of this Indenture or irrevocable instructions shall have been given to the Trustee to give such notice.
The Purchasers may assist the Company in soliciting conversion of the Redeemable Securities by the holders thereof but shall not be entitled to compensation by the Company for any such assistance.
The Common Stock acquired by the Purchasers upon conversion of any Redeemable Securities acquired pursuant to this Section 4 may be sold at any time or from time to time by the Purchasers.
As of the close of business on May 31, 2001, except for 4,006,680 shares of Washington Mutual Common Stock reserved for issuance in connection with the Washington Mutual Series H Preferred Stock and 27,786,300 shares of Washington Mutual common stock reserved for issuance in connection with Washington Mutual's Trust Preferred Income Equity Redeemable Securities Units, no shares of Washington Mutual Common Stock or Washington Mutual preferred stock were reserved for issuance.
