Receipt definition

Receipt means the physical or electronic arrival of the invoice at the address of the Authority detailed at clause A5.4 (Notices) or at any other address given by the Authority to the Contractor for the submission of invoices.
Receipt means one of the depositary receipts issued hereunder, substantially in the form set forth as Exhibit A hereto, whether in definitive or temporary form, and evidencing the number of Depositary Shares held of record by the Record Holder of those Depositary Shares and shall include the DTC Receipt, as defined in Section 2.2, where appropriate.
Receipt means a receipt issued hereunder to evidence one or more Depositary Shares, whether in definitive or temporary form, substantially in the form set forth as Exhibit A hereto.

Examples of Receipt in a sentence

  • Every Holder and beneficial owner at the time any amendment to the Deposit Agreement so becomes effective shall be deemed, by continuing to hold such Receipt, to consent and agree to such amendment and to be bound by the Deposit Agreement as amended thereby.

  • In no event shall any amendment impair the right of the Holder of any Receipt to surrender such Receipt and receive the Deposited Securities represented thereby, except in order to comply with mandatory provisions of applicable law.
