Rating Factor definition

Rating Factor means, with respect to a Reference Entity, an Incoming Entity or an Outgoing Entity, the relevant factor in table below which corresponds to the Rating of such Reference Entity at the time of determination. If any such entity does not have a Rating at the relevant time of determination, such entity shall be deemed to have a Rating of B+;
Rating Factor means a number used to calculate premium.
Rating Factor for each Collateral Obligation, is the number set forth in the table below opposite the S&P Rating of such Collateral Obligation.

  • Subject to the provisions provided below, on or after the Effective Date, the Collateral Manager will have the option to elect which of the cases set forth in the matrix below (the “Fitch Test Matrix”) shall be applicable for purposes of the Maximum Fitch Rating Factor Test, the Minimum Weighted Average Fitch Recovery Rate Test and the Minimum Fitch Floating Spread Test.

  • Subject to the provisions provided below, on or after the Closing Date, the Collateral Manager will have the option to elect which of the cases set forth in the matrix below (or any replacement matrix provided or confirmed by Fitch) (the “Fitch Test Matrix”) shall be applicable for purposes of the Maximum Fitch Rating Factor Test, the Minimum Weighted Average Fitch Recovery Rate Test and the Fitch Minimum Floating Spread Test.

More Definitions of Rating Factor

Rating Factor means any factor that is considered in the process of calculating the premium paid by a consumer for a contract of insurance;
Rating Factor means the number in the table in Schedule 2 to the confirmation of the Swap Transaction, set out opposite the Fitch Rating of such Reference Obligation.

The Rating Factor will be assigned to an Eligible Portfolio Investment upon acquisition of such Portfolio Investment by the Borrower and must be refreshed on an annual basis thereafter. The Borrower has the option to provide such Rating Factor using a corresponding current public or private rating (shadow rating or credit estimate) for the related Underlying Borrower as issued or provided by either S&P or Moody’s (and if a facility rating is provided by both S&P and Moody’s and they are different, the lower facility rating shall be utilized). A RiskCalc Rating Factor shall only be used in the absence of a Rating Factor based upon an existing public rating, private rating, shadow rating or credit estimate and a Rating Factor obtained via a public rating, private rating, shadow rating or credit estimate shall take precedence over an existing Rating Factor obtained via RiskCalc. For purposes of determining the Rating Factor in accordance with Annex A, solely with respect to an Eligible Portfolio Investment with a “bond default rating” determined by RiskCalc, (i) an Eligible Portfolio Investment with a RiskCalc “bond default rating” of Baa3 or better will be deemed to have a “bond default rating” of Ba3, (ii) an Eligible Portfolio Investment with a RiskCalc “bond default rating” of Ba1 will be deemed to have a “bond default rating” of B1, (iii) an Eligible Portfolio Investment with a RiskCalc “bond default rating” of Ba2, Ba3 or B1 will be deemed to have a “bond default rating” of B2, and (iv) an Eligible Portfolio Investment with a RiskCalc “bond default rating” of B2 will be deemed to have a “bond default rating” of B3.
