RAPs definition

RAPs means collectively the RAP, as so defined, and the resettlement action plans to be prepared and adopted by the Project Implementing Entity for Part A of the Project pursuant to the RPF and the provisions of paragraph 2 (c), Section I of the Schedule to the Project Agreement.
RAPs means the resettlement action plan(s) to be prepared by the Borrower for selected road sections under Part A of the Project, setting out, inter alia, the principles and objectives of the RAP, the affected personseligibility criteria, compensation, assistance and rehabilitation entitlements and procedures, as well as the monitoring and reporting arrangements in conformity with the RPF.
RAPs means the resettlement action plans to be prepared by the Recipient and the Project Implementing Entities in accordance with Section I.E.1(a) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and the RPF, containing, inter alia, a program of actions, measures and policies for compensation and resettlement of Affected Persons, including the magnitude of displacement, compensation and resettlement arrangements, budget and cost estimates, and sources of funding, together with adequate institutional, monitoring and reporting arrangements capable of ensuring proper implementation of, and regular feedback on compliance with its terms.

More Definitions of RAPs

RAPs means the resettlement action plan or plans which set out the principles and procedures governing the acquisition of land and other assets, and the resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons on account of the execution of the Project.
RAPs means, the Resettlement Action Plan dated March 18, 2005, with respect to Parts A.1 and A.2 of the Project, duly adopted by Fuzhou, which plan sets out the principles and procedures governing land acquisition, resettlement, compensation, and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons on account of the execution of such Parts of the Project, as well as reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said plan, as the same may be revised from time to time with the prior agreement of the Bank; and such term includes all attachments and annexes supplemental to said plans;
RAPs means the Resettlement Action Plans dated September 1, 2007, April 2008, June 2007, and May 31, 2007, duly adopted by Xi’an Municipality and to be implemented by the Project Implementation Entity for purposes of carrying out Parts A, B.1(ii), D and E.1 of the Project, respectively, which plans sets out the principles and procedures governing land acquisition, resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation under such Parts of the Project, as well as reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said plans, as the same may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank; and such term includes all attachments and annexes supplemental to each said plans.
RAPs mean, collectively: (i) the Resettlement Action Plan for Laogang Daily Waste Disposal Site dated April 2002; (ii) the Resettlement Action Plan for Shanghai Sewerage Project Phase III, dated April 5, 2002; (iii) the Resettlement Action Plan for Shanghai Fengxian Sewage Treatment Plant Project, dated March 28, 2002; (iv) the Resettlement Action Plan for Fengjing Water Decontamination Project in Jinshan, dated March 2002; and (v) the Resettlement Action Plan for Shanghai Jinshan Treated Wastewater Drainage Project – Phase II, dated March 2002; prepared by Shanghai and the Participating Districts, respectively, and referred to in paragraphs 3(b) and 5 of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement, which set out the principles and procedures governing land acquisition, resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons, as well as administrative, reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said plans, as said plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank; and “Resettlement Action Plan” and “RAP” mean any of said Resettlement Action Plans or RAPs.
RAPs means, collectively, (i) the Resettlement Action Plan for Highway 48 in Nghe An Province; (ii) the Resettlement Action Plan for Highway 37 in Bac Xxxxx and Thai Xxxxxx Provinces; and (iii) the Resettlement Action Plan for Highway 47 in Xxxxx Xxx Province; all dated September 17, 2003, for carrying out the compensation, resettlement and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons, approved by the Borrower through the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 204/CP-CN, dated February 25, 2003, which authorizes the Ministry of Transport to approve the RAPs by Decision No. 3208/QD.BGTVT dated October 30, 2003, as said Plans may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Association; and "RAP" means either of the RAPs.
RAPs mean, collectively: (i) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Dashadi Wastewater Treatment Plant; (ii) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Liede III Wastewater Treatment Plant; (iii) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Sewerage Network; and (iv) the Resettlement Action Plan for the Hazardous Waste Center, all dated March 8, 2004, prepared by Guangzhou and referred to in paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement; said Plans set out the principles and procedures governing the acquisition of land and other assets, resettlement, compensation and rehabilitation of Displaced Persons, as well as administrative, reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said Plans, as said Plans may be revised from time to time with the agreement of the Bank; and “Resettlement Action Plan” and “RAP” mean any of said Resettlement Action Plans or RAPs.
RAPs means the Resettlement Action Plans prepared by the Project Implementing Entity for the four roads of the Project, dated December 26, 2006.
