More Definitions of RAID

RAID means a device comprised of an assembly of storage media components and related peripheral hardware, or Software or Firmware components contained within one or more enclosures, combined with associated Software or Firmware, for the purpose of data storage and retrieval, designed to protect digital information from a single component failure or to enhance performance by dividing data among multiple storage media components. For the avoidance of doubt, “RAID” excludes storage media components incorporated therein.
RAID means a Redundant Array of Independent Disks being a system of multiple hard drives for sharing or replicating digital data. Service Specification means the entirety of the equipment, software, services and pricing set out in the Agreement Details. Services means any service, software or equipment supplied to you under this Agreement, including:

RAID means Redundant Array of Independent Disks, a data storage system made of two or more ordinary hard disks and a special disk controller. Various RAID levels exist including RAID 1 which mirrors disks for fault tolerance and RAID 5 which stripes a set of disks for increased performance with fault tolerance.
RAID means a collection of multiple HDD Products and/or other storage media, combined with associated Software or Firmware provided for the purpose of data storage and retrieval to protect data from a single component failure.
