Examples of RACM in a sentence

  • Friable - Materials containing greater than 1% asbestos are always considered Regulated Asbestos Containing Materials (RACM) that require removal prior to building renovation or demolition activities that impact the material.

  • For projects involving permitted RACM removals, both the applicable county and the state (HHCU) must be notified.

  • For demolitions with no RACM, only the local environmental agencies must be notified.

  • An Asbestos Removal Permit must be obtained from the Health Hazards Control Unit (HHCU) of the N.C.
