Quiet Zone definition

Quiet Zone means all lands located within a distance of 250 meters of all exterior walls of a hospital, nursing home, or seniors retirement facility;
Quiet Zone means those areas of the City where quiet is of particular importance and as more particularly designated in Schedule 4 to this By-law.
Quiet Zone means the area and block municipally known as the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital (Arnprior Regional Health) and illustrated in Appendix ‘A” attached hereto.

  • At no time shall ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Springs be held responsible for any costs associated with the Quiet Zone Improvements within the railroad right-of-way.

More Definitions of Quiet Zone

Quiet Zone means those areas so described in this Bylaw and so indicated in Schedule A, attached to and forming part of this Bylaw;
Quiet Zone means an area in the municipality where quiet is of particular importance and as more particularly designated in schedule “C”
Quiet Zone means any property within the municipality used as a hospital, retirement home, nursing home, senior citizens residence, or other similar use.

Quiet Zone means a section of a rail line at least one half mile in length that contains one or more consecutive public Crossings at which locomotive horns are not routinely sounded, see 49 CFR 222.
Quiet Zone means an area within a distance of 500 meters of Royal Victoria Hospital, or other hospital, long term care facility as regulated by the Ministry of Health, City Hall, or any Provincial or Federal Courthouse.
