Qualified school means a nonpublic elementary or secondary school in Iowa which is accredited under Iowa Code section 256.11, including a prekindergarten program for students who are five years of age by September 15 of the appropriate year, and adheres to the provisions of the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Iowa Code chapter 216, and which is represented by only one school tuition organization.
Qualified school means a preschool that offers services to students with disabilities and is a nongovernmental primary or a secondary school located in Arizona. The school cannot discriminate on the basis of race, color, handicap, familial status, or national origin and requires all teaching staff and personnel who have unsupervised contact with students to be fingerprinted. A “qualified school” does not include a charter school or programs operated by a charter school. The primary school must begin with kindergarten and the secondary school must end with grade 12.
