Ownership of China A-shares: Although a QFII will maintain records of the assets attributable to a Portfolio, it is possible that in the event of any insolvency proceedings being brought against the QFII in the PRC, the courts in the PRC would not recognize the right of a Portfolio to the assets held by the QFII in respect of the Portfolio.
