Public tree definition
Public tree or "City Tree" means any tree which is located within any public park, City easement, or on any other City-owned property.
Public tree means a tree located in a place or area under ownership or control of the city including but without limitation streets, parkways, open space, parkland and including city owned property under the operational control of another entity by virtue of a lease, license, operating or other agreement.
Public tree means any tree which has greater than or equal to fifty (50) percent of its trunk diameter measured at ground level on public property, and “public tree” shall be used interchangeably with “municipal tree”, “municipally owned tree”, or “Town owned tree”.

Public tree means any tree growing on land owned by the city including lands defined as “public place”, “public street”, or “park .”
