Examples of Provider System in a sentence

  • You must receive covered services from the network providers that are in your selected Provider System.

  • The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has: (i) approved the CNYCC Project Plan submitted to form a Performing Provider System (PPS) under the New York State Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program (DSRIP) to serve individuals enrolled in Medicaid and uninsured individuals in the counties of Cayuga, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego (CNYCC Region) and (ii) designated CNYCC as the PPS Lead.

Provider System means a grouping of Participating Providers generally based on the Hospital or Health System with which they are affiliated. If a Covered Service is not available within the Provider System, VIVA HEALTH will work with the Member to identify another Participating Provider who can perform the service. The Provider System for this Plan includes the University of South Alabama Health System for inpatient and outpatient care and the Participating Physicians who admit to the health system’s facilities for Physician services. It also includes access to the entire VIVA HEALTH network of dermatology, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), ophthalmology, optometry, podiatry, chiropractic, pain management, allergy and immunology, mental health and substance use, endocrinology, urology, and rheumatology providers, durable medical equipment, ancillary services, and select additional urgent care providers. Unless Prior Authorization is received, Members must use the University of South Alabama Health System for inpatient and outpatient care and the Participating Physicians who admit to the University of South Alabama Health System and the specialists noted above in the entire VIVA HEALTH network for Physician services to be covered.

Provider System means Provider’s proprietary electronic health records technology, including software, user interface designs, “look and feel,” architecture, libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Provider or licensed to Provider from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of the Provider System conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by either Party.
