Pro-Ration Factor definition

Pro-Ration Factor means: (A) in the case of a Participant who is a Non-Employee Director for the entire Plan Year in question and attends at least 75 percent of the Meetings that occur during such Plan Year (such Meetings, the "Plan Year Meetings"), 100 percent; (B) in the case of a Participant who is a Non-Employee Director for only a portion of a Plan Year and attends at least 75 percent of the Meetings that occur during that portion of a Plan Year (such meetings, the "Applicable Meetings"), a percentage determined by dividing the number of Applicable Meetings by the total number of Plan Year Meetings for that Plan Year; and (C) in the case of a Non-Employee Director who fails to satisfy the Meeting attendance requirement of clause (A) or (B), as applicable, 75 percent of the percentage specified in clause (A) or (B), as applicable.

More Definitions of Pro-Ration Factor

Pro-Ration Factor means a fraction (not to exceed 1), (i) the numerator of which equals the number of full and partial months from the Effective Date through the employment termination date, and (ii) the denominator of which equals 120.

The percentage is applied on the lower of actual charges incurred and covered under the Interim Cover, including Eligible Expenses in connection with Hospitalisation, or the Reasonable Expenses for equivalent medical treatment in any Singapore private Hospital or Public Hospital, depending on the plan type chosen in the Application Form. Except where the Life Assured receives Inpatient treatment in a luxury or deluxe suite or any otherspecial room of a Hospital, if the Life Assured changes the type of room during his stay as an Inpatient, We will use the type of room he was staying in immediately before his discharge to decide if We will apply the Pro-ration Factor. The Pro-ration Factor is not applicable to expenses incurred in a Public Hospital for day Surgery.
Pro-Ration Factor means that in the event of the Insured Worker is admitted into a private hospital, the hospital medical expenses payable under the Policy will be reduced by 10% subject to the limits stated in the Schedule of Benefits.
Pro-Ration Factor shall have the meaning set forth in paragraph 10.3(c).
Pro-Ration Factor means the number of days as a Participant under the Plan divided by 365 days.
