Prize definition

Prize or “Prizes” means the prize or prizes (if there are multiple prizes) to be awarded for a particular Contest as specified in the Contest Summary;
Prize means currency or any other valuable compensation or reward offered or given to a contestant. The term does not include a watch, medal, article of jewelry, trophy, or ornament that is suitably inscribed to show that it is given for participation in a contest and costs $200.00 or less.
Prize means anything of value, including, but not limited to, money or merchandise that is given to a player for attending or winning a game at an event. A nonmonetary item is valued at its retail value. Prize does not include advertising given away by a qualified organization in accordance with rules promulgated under this act.

Examples of Prize in a sentence

  • Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor.

  • If the Contestant resign from participation in the Competition or the Film is not delivered on time or produced at all the Contestant is obliged to return the First Degree Prize.
