Privacy Rules definition

Privacy Rules means the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information at 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164, as may be amended, modified or superseded, from time to time.
Privacy Rules means the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information promulgated by the Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and found at 45 CFR part 160 and part 164, subparts A and E, as amended.
Privacy Rules means the privacy provisions of HIPAA and the regulations in 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164.

  • The Contractor will indemnify the State and hold it harmless for any violation by the Contractor or its subcontractors of the Privacy Rules.
