Pretreatment Facility definition

Pretreatment Facility means a wastewater treatment facility owned by a commercial or industrial user which discharges pretreated wastewater to a publicly owned treatment works.
Pretreatment Facility means Wastewater treatment processes designed to remove pollutants from Wastewater prior to Discharge to the Commission’s Wastewater System;
Pretreatment Facility or “Pretreatment Facilities” means an Industrial Wastewater Regional Treatment Plant consisting of one (1) or more Treatment devices designed to remove sufficient Pollutants from Wastewaters to allow a User to comply with EPA, state or local effluent limitations for legal discharge to a POTW.

  • The Contractor shall conduct Operations Research assessments for the Pretreatment Facility, HLW Vitrification Facility, LAW Vitrification Facility, and Analytical Laboratory to determine that the WTP design incorporates appropriate design and operational features to meet integrated facility availability requirements and reduce construction and/or operations costs.

More Definitions of Pretreatment Facility

Pretreatment Facility means any equipment, system or process intended to reduce or eliminate the amount of Pollutants or alter the nature of prohibited Pollutants prior to a Discharge into the Wastewater Collection System.
Pretreatment Facility means the equipment used to accomplish pretreatment.
