Presented Check definition

Presented Check means a check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Bank for payment through the check collection system or directly with Bank as ‘over-the-counter’ items.
Presented Check. A check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Extraco for payment.
Presented Check means a check drawn on an Account and presented to Bank for payment through the check collection system, including without limitation “on-us” checks deposited to another account maintained at Bank. Checks presented to Bank for payment by the payee in person, or by any means other than the check collection system, are not Presented Checks for purposes of this definition.

Examples of Presented Check in a sentence

  • Bank shall compare each Presented Check by check number and amount against each Check Issue Report received by Bank.

  • On each Business Day, Bank shall pay and charge to the Authorized Account each Presented Check that matches the check number and amount of the check shown in any Issued Check File.

  • For each check presented for payment through the check collection system, Bank shall compare each Presented Check by check number and amount against each Issued Check File received by Bank on previous Business Days and not yet matched.

  • For each check presented for immediate payment to Bank “over the counter”, such as by a teller transaction, Bank shall compare each Presented Check by check number and amount against each Issued Check File received by Bank.

  • If no such agreements can be reached during construction, the certificate holder will propose alternatives such as contracting with a private fire response company or providing additional firefighting equipment at those sites.


More Definitions of Presented Check

Presented Check means a Customer Check drawn on the Positive Pay Account and presented to the Bank for payment through the check collection system. A Customer Check presented to the Bank by the payee directly (for example, over-the-counter) or otherwise outside of the Bank’s automated check collection system will not be a Presented Check and will not be governed by Schedule D to this CMTS Agreement.
Presented Check means a check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to F&M BANK for payment through the check collection system and for which no applicable return deadline has expired.
Presented Check means a check drawn on a Designated Account and presented to Bank for payment. By transmitting the file, Customer expressly warrants that all Presented Checks that match the information in the file are properly payable. The file must accurately state the check number, issue date, and exact dollar amount on each check drawn on the Designated Accounts. If Customer directs Bank, on the Enrollment Form, to match the payee name, as referenced in Part II, subsection 8.11, Customer must accurately state the payee name on each check drawn on the Designated Accounts. Customer may upload files to Bank’s system on a monthly, weekly, daily and/or hourly basis. Before beginning the Positive Pay Service and providing its first file, Customer must provide Bank a list of all outstanding checks on the Designated Accounts. As noted herein, any Presented Check that does not appear in a file received by Bank or that is not manually uploaded by Customer, shall appear in the Check Exceptions. In order to avoid having a large number of items in the Check Exceptions, due to checks being presented before Bank has had an opportunity to match them to the uploaded checks, Customer should upload the file or checks to Bank’s system at least one (1) Business Day before a check is delivered to the payee. In the event of system failure, either that of Customer or of Bank, and the file cannot be or is not received by Bank for any reason or Bank cannot process the file for any reason, the file shall be considered as not received, even if Bank has possession of the file. Bank shall have no responsibility for a file that is not received and all checks presented on a Designated Account for which no file is received will be listed on the Check Exceptions as provided below.
Presented Check means a check, substitute check, or electronically-presented check drawn on an Authorized Account and presented to Bank for payment through the check collection system or over-the-counter at one of Bank's branch teller stations. "Return Decision(s)" means the instructions of Customer to Bank instructing Bank not to pay an Exception Check.
Presented Check means a check drawn on a Positive Pay Account and presented to the Bank for payment through the check collection system.
Presented Check means any check presented for payment at Bank which appears to have been drawn by Customer on Bank.
Presented Check means any check presented for payment at GSB which appears to have been drawn by Customer on GSB.
