POS Device definition

POS Device means a device enabled to accept EPE Cards for the purposes of payment for goods and/or services;
POS Device means a terminal, software or other point-of-sale device at a Company location that conforms to the requirements established from time to time by Elavon and the applicable Payment Network.
POS Device means a physical electronic cash register or dedicated point of sale hardware or terminal that is used for WIC processing.

  • If you use an electronic device (e.g., authorization/draft capture terminal, cash register, POS Device, etc.) and swipe the Card to read and capture the Card information via the Magnetic Stripe, you do not have to imprint the Card.

  • A credit booking in the case of Payment Cards, as defined in Section 4.5 sentences 4 and 5, may only be issued by use of the POS Device.

POS Device means a card reading terminal, mobile device, computer, software, gateway or other similar device or software used for the purpose of gathering and transmitting data related to Card transactions.
