Pooling Substation definition

Pooling Substation means an intermediary Substation where more than one Solar PV Project may connect for further connectivity through a common transmission line to STU / CTU System for evacuation of power.
Pooling Substation means an intermediary Substation within the Solar Park where each Solar PV Project interconnect with pooling substation through 33 kV/ other suitable voltage underground or overhead cable, for further connectivity through a common transmission line to STU / CTU System for evacuation of power.
Pooling Substation means a point where more than one Project may connect to a common Transmission System. Multiple Projects can be connected to a pooling substation from where common transmission system shall be constructed and maintained by the HPD(s) to get connected to the GETCO/CTU substation. Interconnection voltages and metering shall be governed as per applicable Regulations. Accordingly, for example if interconnection is at 66 KV voltage level, the metering will be allowed by GETCO at 66 KV voltage level subject to applicable regulations. The power generated from Wind / Solar / Hybrid Projects shall be injected separately through independent dedicated lines and measured separately as per the extant rules and regulations or through dedicated line/s from sub-pooling substation of a Hybrid Project as the case may be and the successful bidder shall have to install separate ABT compliant meters (Main + Check) at pooling station for this purpose over and above the Main meters (Main +Check) installed at GETCO end and / or sub-pooling substation;It should be noted that this point shall be prior to the Metering Point of the Project;

Examples of Pooling Substation in a sentence

  • The SPD shall make adequate arrangements to connect the Power Project switchyard to the Pooling Substation and the SPPD shall be responsible for the connection of the Pooling Substation to the Delivery Point at the Grid Substation.

  • It may be noted that the said pooling station will have a different meaning than the Pooling Substation as defined in the RfS.

  • Joint Meter Reading (JMR) shall be taken at Delivery Point and Pooling Substation (if applicable)/ plant premise at the time of connectivity of the Project with Grid.

More Definitions of Pooling Substation

Pooling Substation means a point where more than one Project may connect to a common Transmission System. Multiple Projects can be connected to a pooling substation from where common transmission system shall be constructed and maintained by the HPD(s) to get connected to the GETCO substation. Interconnection voltages and metering shall be governed as per GERC Regulations. Accordingly, if interconnection is at 66 KV voltage level, the metering will be allowed by GETCO at 66 KV voltage level subject to applicable regulations. In case of Projects to be set up in an existing Wind Farm and proposed to be interconnected to the grid through a common pooling sub-station, the power generated from Wind and Solar Projects shall be injected separately through independent dedicated lines and measured separately as per the extant rules and regulations and the successful bidder shall have to install separate ABT compliant meters (Main + Check) at pooling station for this purpose over and above the Main meters (Main +Check) installed at GETCO end;
Pooling Substation means the 220/33 kV Solar Park Pooling Substation at the Solar Park periphery, where Solar PV Project may connect to a common Transmission System. Project can be connected to a pooling substation from where common transmission system shall be constructed and maintained by the MSPGCL. The voltage level for such common line shall be 220kV and above. However, the voltage level of transmission system of project up to the pooling substation may be at 33 kV and above. Sub-meters shall be installed at the pooling substation for metering and forecasting and scheduling of Project. Further, the metering of the pooled power shall be done at 33kV level of 220/33kV Pooling Substation as well as the Injection Point i.e. 220kV side of 220/33 kV Pooling Substation.
Pooling Substation means an intermediary Substation where more than one Solar PV Project may connect for further connectivity through a common transmission line to CTU/STU System for evacuation of power; “Power Sale Agreement” or “PSA” “Preliminary Default Notice
Pooling Substation means the 33/220 kV solar park pooling substation(s) at or within the Jhansi Solar Park periphery, as described in the Implementation Support Agreement, where more than one solar PV project may connect to a common transformer and transmission system. Multiple projects can be connected to a pooling substation from where common transmission system shall be connected to the Grid Substation, i.e. the Delivery Point. 33/220 kV Pooling Substations and 220 kV Transmission lines shall be constructed and maintained by the SPPD. Further, the metering of the pooled power shall be done at the injection point, i.e. the Grid Substation. However, the voltage level of transmission system of individual projects up to the pooling substation may be at 33 kV and above. Sub-meters shall be installed at the pooling substation for metering and forecasting and scheduling of individual projects. The losses in the common transmission system up to the injection point shall be apportioned to the individual projects for the purpose of billing. In such case, it shall be responsibility of the SPD or the Lead SPD to obtain and furnish the meter reading jointly by the SPD and any Indian Governmental Instrumentality (if applicable);
