Pollution control facility definition

Pollution control facility means an identifiable structure or portions of a structure that is designed to reduce the amount of pollution produced by the power plant, but does not include any facility that reduces pollution by sub- stituting a different method of genera- tion or that generates the additional power necessitated by the operation of a pollution control facility.

Pollution control facility means any waste storage site, sanitary landfill, waste disposal site, waste transfer station, waste treatment facility, or waste incinerator. This includes sewers, sewage treatment plants, and any other facilities owned or operated by sanitary districts organized under the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act. The following are not pollution control facilities:
