PM-2.5 definition

PM-2.5 means particulate matter with an aerodynamic diame- ter less than or equal to a nominal 2.5 micrometers as measured by a reference method based on 40 C.F.R. Part 50 Appendix L and designated in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Part 53 or by an equivalent method desig- nated in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Part 53.
PM-2.5 means particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 2.5 micrometers as measured by a reference method set forth in 40 CFR 50, Appendix L, and designated as a reference method in accordance with 40 CFR 53 or by an equivalent method approved by the Administrator in accordance with 40 CFR 53.
PM-2.5 means particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than or equal to a nominal 2.5 micrometers as measured by a reference method based on 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix L, and designated in accordance with 40 CFR Part 53, or by an equivalent method designated in accordance with 40 CFR Part 53.

  • Employees who are required to work outside when outdoor air concentration for PM2.5 reach at or above 55.5 ug/m3 (equivalent to an AQI at or above 151) will be provided with the appropriate OSHA recommended safety equipment.
