PIBS definition

PIBS means the 127/8per cent. Permanent Interest Bearing Shares of the Society and, unless the context otherwise requires, includes any further deferred shares issued pursuant to Condition 9 and forming a single series with the PIBS.

Examples of PIBS in a sentence

  • No charge shall be made in respect of any entry in the PIBS Register.

  • In the case of purchases by tender, tenders shall be made available to all PIBS holders alike.

For the purposes of issues regarding Spectrum Compatibility, service degradation means the failure to meet the Bit Error Ratio (BER) and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) margin requirements defined for the specific transmission system for all Loop lengths, model Loops, or loss values within the requirements for the specific transmission system.

  • Pretreatment coating means a coating which contains no more than 12% solids by weight, and at least 0.5% acid by weight, is used to provide surface etching, and is applied directly to metal surfaces to provide corrosion resistance, adhesion, and ease of stripping.

The cabinet x-ray system is intended to contain at least that portion of a material being irradiated, provide radiation attenuation, and exclude personnel from its interior during generation of radiation. Included are all x-ray systems designed primarily for the inspection of carry-on baggage at airline, railroad, and bus terminals, and in similar facilities.   • Polystyrene foam adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polystyrene foam to substrates.
