Pharmacogenomics means the study of the pharmacological correlation between drug response and variations in genetic elements has become of increasing importance for drug development. Pharmacogenomics means the correlation, based on analysis of animal and/or human tissue (including, without limitation, cell lines), of a biological marker (e.g., DNA, RNA or protein) with measurements of the safety and/or efficacy of a preventative and/or therapeutic substance or candidate.
