Personalized Card definition

Personalized Card means the personalized Xpectations!® Visa Prepaid Card that is either (i) obtained at a PLS Check Cashers store, where available, or (ii) made available to you following the first load to the Non- Personalized Card. Some terms in this Agreement will only apply to the Non-Personalized Card and will be indicated as such, otherwise the term “Card” applies to each of your Cards, including both the Non-Personalized Card and Personalized Card. “Card Account” means the records we maintain to account for the value of claims associated with your Cards. “You” and “your” mean the person or persons who receive the Card and are authorized to use it as provided for in this Agreement. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean the Issuer, our successors, affiliates or assignees. PLS Financial Services, Inc. (“PLS”) is the entity managing the Card Program. By accepting and using the Card, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. You acknowledge and agree that the value available in the Card Account is limited to the funds you have loaded to it. You agree to sign the back of the Card immediately upon receipt. The expiration date of the Card is identified on the front of the Card. The Card is a prepaid card. The Card is not connected in any way to any other account, except as described below in the section titled “Negative Balances and Right to Set Off” where we explain how, under certain circumstances, we can cure a negative balance in this Card Account by removing funds from another PLS Financial Services, Inc. managed Card Account you have. The Card is not a credit card. The Card is not for resale. You will not receive any interest on your funds in the Card Account. The Card is the property of the Issuer and must be surrendered upon demand. The Card is nontransferable and it may be canceled, repossessed, or revoked at any time without prior notice subject to applicable law. The Card is not designed for business use, and we may close your Card if we determine it is being used for business purposes. Personalized Card means the MasterCard Prepaid Card you received that includes your personal information on the Card front. “Issuer” means BANK; Home Trust Company. “Card Account” means the records we maintain to account for the value, in US dollars, associated with the Card. “You” and “your” mean the person or persons who have received the Card and are authorized to use the Card as provided for in this Agreement. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean Home Trust Company, our successors, affiliates or assignees. You acknowledge and agree that the value available in the Card Account is limited to the funds that you have loaded into the Card Account or have been loaded into the Card Account on your behalf. Personalized Card refers to the Card embossed with your name that you will receive automatically after your second load. Upon activation of the Personalized Card, the Instant Issue Card will be disabled.

  • Before using the Card You must activate the Personalized Card by calling the number indicated on the sticker on the front of your Card, or signing on to our secure website.

  • Upon the reward of the contract, deliverables and milestones will be agreed upon.

  • Following additional identity verification, we may, in our sole discretion, allow you to use your Temporary Card with some or all of the features of a Personalized Card (such as ATM and cash access), and we will notify you if we do.

  • If you fail to activate your Personalized Card within thirty (30) calendar days we will assume you no longer wish to have a Card and will cancel your Temporary Card and Personalized Card, and you will need to contact us, and may be required to provide Verification Information (as defined herein) again, to regain access to your Card Account.

  • If you make or receive a load of funds to your Temporary Card, you agree that we may provide you with a Personalized Card bearing your name and a new card number.


More Definitions of Personalized Card

Personalized Card means the Card personalized with the Cardholder’s name following successful completion of our identification and verification process (see the sections of this Agreement below labeled “IMPORTANT INFORMATIONABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW CARD ACCOUNT” and “Activate/Register The Non-Personalized Card”). The Personalized Card is mailed to the Cardholder’s registered address on file. “Card Account” means the records we maintain to account for the value of claims associated with the Card. “You,” “your,” and “Cardholder” mean the person or persons who receive the Card and are authorized to use it as provided for in this Agreement. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean the Issuer, our successors, affiliates or assignees.
