Personal Service Shop definition

Personal Service Shop means a premises used to provide personal grooming services or for the cleaning or care of apparel.

Personal Service Shop means a use of a building or part of a building in which services are provided and administered to the individual and personal needs of persons, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, includes a barber shop, hairdressing establishment, beautician, beauty parlor, shoe repair and shoe shining shop, formal rental shop, tailor shop, bake shops, depots for collection and delivery of dry cleaning and laundry, self-serve laundry establishments and pet grooming facilities. The sale of merchandise shall be permitted as an accessory use to the personal service provided.

Personal Service Shop means a development where personal services related to the care and appearance of the body, or the cleaning and repair of personal effects are provided to persons. Personal service shops include barbershops, hairdressers, beauty salons, tailors, dressmakers, shoe repair shops, dry cleaning establishments, and Laundromats, but not health services;

For clarity, and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, a personal service shop shall only include the retail sale of goods and service as an accessory use.
