Casual Employees who Acquire a Permanent Position A casual employee who has completed her probationary period set forth in Clause 11.06(b) and who acquires a permanent position shall be subject to a trial period of up to thirty (30) work days, and shall not be subject to a second probationary period.
If a Term Position (other than one for the replacement of an employee on maternity/parental leave) exceeds twelve (12) months in duration, it will be converted to a Permanent Position and if the incumbent is a Term Employee the incumbent will be converted to a Permanent Employee (either Part-Time or Full-Time as applicable).
Any Temporary Position that exceeds the agreed upon duration shall, at the same time, cease to be a Temporary Position and shall automatically be posted for bids as a vacancy, either as a Permanent Position or Term Position.
