Permanent Disablement definition

Permanent Disablement means a disability falling under one of the items of disablement listed in the scale of compensation in this Policy under Section 1, which was caused by an Accident, as long as the disability lasts for twelve (12) consecutive months from the date of the Accident and at the expiry of that period our appointed Registered Medical Practitioner confirms that the disability is not going to improve after twelve (12) months.
Permanent Disablement means, in relation to an Eligible Person, that the Eligible Person has, in the opinion of the Board, after considering such medical and other evidence as it sees fit, become incapacitated to such an extent as to render the Eligible Person unlikely ever to engage in any occupation for which he is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience;
Permanent Disablement means when injury does not result in death to You within (365) days from the Date of Accident but result in 100% absolute disablement from engaging in or giving attention to a profession or occupation of any kind.

Examples of Permanent Disablement in a sentence

  • We shall pay the Insured, as per the percentage of Capital Sum Insured as specified in the Table of Benefits below, up to the limit applicable to the selected plan as specified in the Schedule of Benefits, if the Insured Person sustains Bodily Injury as a result of an Accident during the Policy Period and within three hundred and sixty-five (365) days of the Accident which results in death or Permanent Disablement.

  • We will indemnify You to cover the monthly loan installment amount due and payable under your Mortgage Loan Agreement as a consequence of Accidental Death or Permanent Disablement (occurring within twelve (12) calendar months from the date of Accident) up to a maximum of six (6) monthly installments or the remaining loan balance or the maximum indemnity limit based on the Plan selected, whichever the lowest.

  • If the termination of employment or service is due to death or Total and Permanent Disablement, the payment will be made to you as soon as practicable.

  • Upon the date of a termination of the Participant’s employment as a result of the death or Total and Permanent Disablement (as defined in the Plan) of the Participant, all Unvested Shares shall vest as of such date of termination of the Participant’s employment.

  • This Policy is extended to cover the Person Insured’s death, Permanent Disablement or any other loss caused by earthquake, windstorm, flood, volcanic eruption, lightning, hurricane, cyclone, typhoon and tidal wave.
