Peddle definition

Peddle as used in this chapter means to operate from a temporary stand, display or similar facility or to travel from house to house, door to door, street to street or from place to place, carrying, conveying, or transporting goods, wares or merchandise for the purpose of offering and exposing the same for sale.
Peddle means selling otherwise than in a building, but shall be deemed to include selling in any parlour or market; and for the purposes of this section "parlour" means a small shop carrying a stock not exceeding one thousand five hundred dollars in value;
Peddle means to travel about selling wares or services;

Peddle means to sell and make immediate delivery, or offer for sale and immediate delivery, any nonfood goods, wares, merchandise, or thing in possession of the seller, or services of seller, at any place within the City other than from a fixed place of business.
Peddle means to sell or to offer for sale goods, wares or merchandise from a particular location elsewhere than from within a building.
Peddle means to sell or offer for sale or rent or to deal out or seek to disseminate or to offer or promote as valuable”. The term Peddling”, has a corresponding meaning.
