Pay-Per-View or “PPV” means transmission and retransmission of synchronised video and audio signals of a single motion picture or program (or series of related program) where a supplemental charge on a per exhibition basis is made to a subscriber for the privilege of viewing the particular motion picture or program (or series of related program) at a time scheduled by the Exhibitor;
Pay-Per-View means a delivery of a single Program or a specified group of Programs, as to which each such single Program is generally uninterrupted by Commercial Advertising Messages and for which recipients are charged a separate fee for each Program or specified group of Programs. The term “Pay-Per-View” shall also include delivery of a single Program as described above for which multiple start times are made available at time intervals which are less than the running time of such Program as a whole. If a given delivery qualifies both as Pay-Per-View and a Pay Television Transmission, then, for purposes of this Agreement, such delivery shall be deemed Pay-Per-View rather than a Pay Television Transmission.

More Definitions of Pay-Per-View

Pay-Per-View means a telecast for which a fee is required in addition to any other fee paid by the viewer for any other services of the telecaster;
Pay-Per-View means exhibition over a service for which subscribers pay a premium on a per-program basis for each program which they choose to receive.

Pay-Per-View means the offer to a subscriber located solely within the Territory to receive a schedule of programming on any channel of a Delivery System for which (a) a viewer is charged a separate, discreet, supplemental charge (such as a per program or per day charge) for the privilege of viewing one complete exhibition of such programming (as opposed to a blanket subscription fee or charge based on the reception of all programming exhibited on a given channel or service) but not referring to any fee in the nature of a television set rental fee, or (b) the subscriber may elect to receive less than the complete service transmitted on that channel, in each case which is intended for television viewing simultaneously with the delivery of such programming.
