Passive Infrastructure definition

Passive Infrastructure means transmission towers, roof top structures, room or shelter, poles, air-conditioning, diesel generators and associated electrical and civil works, excluding Active Infrastructure;
Passive Infrastructure means infrastructure that is not part of the active layer of a Telecommunications Network, including but not limited to, sites, buildings, shelters, towers, masts, poles, ducts, trenches, electric power supply, and air conditioning.
Passive Infrastructure means antennae, towers and other supporting structures, ducts, conduits, poles, masts, manholes, cabinets, and associated air-conditioning equipment, diesel electric generators, batteries, electrical supplies, and easements. For the avoidance of doubt, Passive Infrastructure does not include the other electronic communications network elements identified in the definition of Electronic Communications Network in Section 2 of the ECA, including but not limited to, circuit and packet (including Internet Protocol) switching and routing equipment, wireline transmission facilities (including lit and dark fibre), electricity cable systems, satellites, radio spectrum, radio apparatus and radio stations;

Examples of Passive Infrastructure in a sentence

More Definitions of Passive Infrastructure

Passive Infrastructure means the non-electronic elements of telecommunications networks, including, primarily: (i) physical space on properties (or portions thereof) held under any legal title; (ii) the towers, masts and other structures that support broadcasting antennas and other Active Infrastructure, and (iii) civil engineering works, conduits, frames, ducts, access controls and other accessories and physical elements available on-site and which may prove useful for the installation, support and operation of broadcasting equipment and other Active Infrastructure.
Passive Infrastructure means the physical components or facilities that provide the foundational support for the transmission and distribution of services. In the Electricity Sector, passive infrastructure may include elements like transmission towers, substations, power lines, and related equipment that facilitate the transportation of electrical power but do not generate or consume it. In the Electronic Communication Sector, passive infrastructure typically involves the physical components of the network, such as ducts, poles, cell towers, antennas, fiber optic cables, and equipment cabinets. These elements create the necessary framework for the transmission of signals but do not actively process or generate the communication signals themselves.
Passive Infrastructure means non-electronic infrastructure and facility which includes sharing of physical site, building, shelter, electric power supply and battery backup, grounding / earthing, air conditioning, security arrangement, pole, duct, trench, right of way, in-house wiring, sub-loop (Wire/Cable) and local-loop (Wire/Cable) etc.
Passive Infrastructure means the elements which enable active equipment to operate as required, and includes towers and buildings;
Passive Infrastructure means infrastructure that is not part of the active layer of a Telecommunications Network, including but not limited to, sites, buildings,
Passive Infrastructure means at any site, any infrastructure located at such site which is permitted by Law to be shared by the Parties, including but not
Passive Infrastructure means the physical facilities and components shared among multiple facilities owners, such as towers, antennas, shelters, rooftop structures, power supply systems, transmission equipment, air-conditioning, diesel generators, and associated electrical and civil works, excluding Active Infrastructure.
