Overhead Damage definition

Overhead Damage means any damage to the Vehicle or to any third-party property that is caused by:
Overhead Damage means damage (excluding hail damage) to the Vehicle during the Rental Period above the top of the front and back windscreens, damage to the box section of a commercial vehicle above the front windscreen or damage to third party property, caused by the Vehicle coming into contact with anything overhanging or obstructing its path, objects being placed on the roof of the Vehicle, or You or any person standing or sitting on the roof of the Vehicle;
Overhead Damage means damage to the Vehicle or property of any third party caused by the Vehicle coming into contact with anything above the top of the door seal and the top of the front and back windscreens;

Examples of Overhead Damage in a sentence

  • Neither the Standard Insurance nor Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) covers Overhead Damage.

  • No insurance cover is offered for Overhead Damage, any damaged deemed as gross negligence or any internal damages therefore full liability will apply.

  • Please note that no insurance cover (including CDW) is offered for Overhead Damage, any damaged deemed as gross negligence, or any internal damages therefore the hirer accepts fully liability for these which is in addition to the standard Vehicle excess should that apply.

  • Accidental Overhead Damage and under-body sections of the 4WD Camper;ii.

  • There are also exclusions for Overhead Damage, Underbody Damage, Damage caused by immersion of the Vehicle in water and use of the wrong fuel type.


More Definitions of Overhead Damage

Overhead Damage means any damage to the vehicle at or above the level of the top of the front windscreen of the vehicle.
Overhead Damage means: (a) Damage to the Vehicle; or (b) Third Party Loss, caused by: (i) contact between the part of the Vehicle that is at or above the level of the top of the front windscreen with objects overhanging or obstructing its path; (ii) objects being placed on the roof of the Vehicle; or (iii) You or any person standing or sitting on the roof of the Vehicle.
Overhead Damage means when any damage has been caused from impact equal to or above the top lining of the front windscreen causing damage to the Vehicle or any other associated third party property or potential consequential loss claims. Is defined as a Substantial Breach unless You have purchased a Liability Reduction Option and it applies.
Overhead Damage means any damage sustained to any part of the vehicle, its equipment and or any third-party property which occurs above 6 feet (1.83 meters) in height measured from the ground upwards.
Overhead Damage. Any damage caused to the Vehicle above the height of the top of the windscreen Rental Charges: The hire charges for the Rental Period as set out in the Hire Contract and calculated in accordance with the Current Tariff.
