Original Issue Discount Security definition

Original Issue Discount Security means any Security which provides for an amount less than the principal amount thereof to be due and payable upon a declaration of acceleration of the Maturity thereof pursuant to Section 502.

More Definitions of Original Issue Discount Security

Original Issue Discount Security means any Security which provides for an amount (excluding any amounts attributable to accrued but unpaid interest thereon) less than the principal amount thereof to be due and payable upon a declaration of acceleration of the Maturity thereof pursuant to Section 502.

Original Issue Discount Security means any Security which provides that an amount less than its principal amount is due and payable upon acceleration after an Event of Default.

Original Issue Discount Security means a Security issued pursuant to this Indenture which provides, at any time prior to the final Stated Maturity of such Security, for declaration of an amount less than the principal amount thereof to be due and payable upon acceleration pursuant to Section 5.2.
