Open Access Customer definition

Open Access Customer means a consumer permitted by the Commission to receive supply of electricity from a person, other than Distribution Licensee of his area of supply, and the expression includes a generating company and a Licensee, who has availed of or intends to avail of open access;
Open Access Customer means a consumer permitted by the State Commission to receive supply of electricity from a person other than distribution licensee of his area of supply, or a generating company (including captive generating plant) or a licensee, who has availed of or intends to avail of open access;
Open Access Customer means, (a) a consumer permitted by the Commission to receive supply of electricity from a person other than distribution licensee of his area of supply, or (b) a generating company (including captive generating plant), or (c) a licensee who has availed or intends to avail of Open Access in accordance with the regulations of the Commission for grant of open access to the transmission lines and the distribution system of a licensee;

  • On payment of monthly bill, the Open Access Customer shall be entitled to a rebate of 2% of the amount of the monthly bill (excluding arrears), if full payment is made within two working days (excluding holidays under N.I. Act) of the presentation of the bill and 1% of the amount if paid within 30 days of the presentation of the bill.

  • A Long Term Open Access Customer means a person availing or intending to avail access to the Inter-State/Intra-State Transmission System for a period of 25 years or more.

Open Access Customer means a person using or intending to use the transmission system or the distribution system or both of the Licensees in the state for transmission or wheeling of electricity in the State;
Open Access Customer means a consumer, trader, distribution licensee or a generating company who has been granted open access under these regulations.

Open Access Customer means the consumer availing open access under sub-section (2) of section 42 of the Act;
Open Access Customer means a person, who has availed or intends to avail of open access under these regulations, and includes a medium-term or long-term open access customer in transmission or distribution, as the case may be, or a generating company (including the captive generating plant) or a licensee or a consumer permitted by the Commission to receive supply of electricity from a person other than distribution licensee of his area of supply, or a State Government entity authorised to sell or purchase electricity;
