Officiate definition

Officiate means employee who officiates in a post when he performs the duties of a post on which another person holds a lien. A competent authority, may if it thinks fit, appoint an employee to officiate in a vacant post on which no other employee holds a lien.
Officiate means an employee officiates in a post when he/she performs the duties of a post on which another person holds a lien or when he/she is appointed by the Competent Authority to make substantive appointment to the post to officiate in a vacant post on which no other persons holds lien.
