Occupation Date definition

Occupation Date means the Completion Date or the date on which the Local Authority issues the Occupancy Certificate or the date that the Purchaser attends the Hand-over Inspection, whichever is the earlier;
Occupation Date means the date upon which occupation of the Unit is tendered to the Purchaser, provided that such date shall not be prior to the issuing of the Occupancy Certificate for the Section by the relevant Authority and provided that such date shall not be prior the date the electricity is to be connected to the Section and subject to compliance of the provisions of clause 9.1 to the satisfaction of the Seller;
Occupation Date means the date in which the occupant will take occupation of the premises after the completion of the tenant installation as per Schedule 2.

Examples of Occupation Date in a sentence

  • Occupation shall be redelivered in the same good order and condition as at the Occupation Date.

  • It is anticipated that the Property will be ready for occupation on the Occupation Date (“the specified date”) stipulated in the Information Schedule.

  • This penalty fee must be paid in cash to the Seller on or before the Transfer Date or the Occupation Date, whichever is the earlier.

  • The Seller shall within a reasonable time thereafter at its cost repair all such defects and the Seller undertakes to rectify all latent and/or patent defects which become apparent to the Purchaser within 3 (three) calendar months from the Contractual Occupation Date and which is the result of defective materials and/or workmanship.

  • The Contractual Occupation Date shall under no circumstances be deferred by the Purchaser, whether or not the Unit is considered suitable for beneficial occupation by reason of any improvements, additions or alterations to be effected to the Section, by or at the request of Purchaser, not having been completed.


More Definitions of Occupation Date

Occupation Date means the date on which the Unit becomes beneficially occupied by the Purchaser, provided that the unit shall be complete, in that it is i) habitable, ii) an occupancy certificate has been issued and iii) all the work listed on the Inspection Date in terms of clause 7.1.2 has been completed (unless otherwise agreed between the Parties);
Occupation Date means the date upon which the Purchaser takes possession and occupation of the Section in terms of Clause 9, and which date may be on or after, but not prior to, the Completion Date;
Occupation Date means the estimated date referred to in Clause 4 of the Covering Schedule or the date on which the Local Authority issues the Occupancy Certificate, whichever is the earlier;
