NOx budget trading program definition

NOx budget trading program means a multistate nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emission reduction program established in accordance with this rule, 40 CFR 97*, and a state NOx budget trading program established pursuant to 40 CFR 51.121*and approved and administered by the U.S. EPA as a means of mitigating the interstate transport of ozone and nitrogen oxides, an ozone precursor.
NOx budget trading program means a multi-state NOx air pollution control and emission reduction program approved and administered by the Administrator pursuant to 40 C.F.R. 51.121 or established by the Administrator pursuant to 40 C.F.R. 52.34, as a means of mitigating the interstate transport of ozone and NOx.
NOx budget trading program means a multi-state nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emission reduction program established pursuant to 40 CFR 51.121, as a means of mitigating the interstate transport of ozone and nitrogen oxides, an ozone precursor.

NOx budget trading program means a multi-state nitrogen oxides air pollution control and emission reduction program established pursuant to 40 C.F.R. part 96 and part 97. The provisions of 40 C.F.R. part 96 and part 97 are adopted by reference in subrule (2) of this rule.
