Non-Conforming definition

Non-Conforming means a use, building, or structure that was lawfully constructed, or under construction, on the effective date of this By-law, and which now does not conform to the uses and/or provisions of this By-law.
Non-Conforming means a use, building, structure or any part thereof which was lawfully occupied and/or existed at the date of passing of this By-Law, which does not conform or comply with the permitted uses and/or regulations of the zone in which it is now located.
Non-Conforming means any use and/or structure that is not in conformance with the current effective Ordinance of the Santa Cruz County Flood Control District and/or the most current accepted floodplain mapping.

Examples of Non-Conforming in a sentence

  • Proposals that contain exceptions which - individually or in the aggregate- have the effect of altering, limiting, or interfering with the State of Delaware’s chosen and advertised method of service delivery may be deemed Non-Conforming.
