Green means products, materials, methods and processes certified by a “Green Authority” that conserve natural resources, reduce energy or water consumption, avoid toxic or other polluting emissions or otherwise minimize environmental impact.
Parkland means any publicly owned land which is designated or used as a public park, recreation area, wildlife or waterfowl refuge or historic site.
Salmon means Pacific Salmon of the species Oncorhynchus nerka including sockeye; Oncorhynchus kisutch including coho; Oncorhynchus gorbuscha including pink; Oncorhynchus keta including chum; and Oncorhynchus tshawytcha including chinook; anadromous whitefish and cisco (Coregonidae spp.); and anadromous Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus).
Hunt means to pursue, shoot, wound, kill, chase, lure, possess, or capture or the act of a person possessing a weapon, as defined in 45-2-101, or using a dog or a bird of prey for the purpose of shooting, wounding, killing, possessing, or capturing wildlife protected by the laws of this state in any location that wildlife may inhabit, whether or not the wildlife is then or subsequently taken. The term includes an attempt to take by any means, including but not limited to pursuing, shooting, wounding, killing, chasing, luring, possessing, or capturing.
Bancorp means Eagle Bancorp, Inc., a Maryland corporation.
Gateway means the BT electronic gateway, used for all ordering or fault reporting as described in the relevant section of the Handbook;
OHP means the Oregon Health Plan.
Greenfield means land not developed beyond agricultural, range, or forestry use.
Corporation/ Corpn./ Department means the Central Warehousing Corporation.
DTS means Days to Settlement, i.e., the number of actual days elapsed from and including the original Closing Day with respect to such Accepted Note (in the case of the first such payment with respect to such Accepted Note) or from and including the date of the next preceding payment (in the case of any subsequent delayed delivery fee payment with respect to such Accepted Note) to but excluding the date of such payment; and "PA" means Principal Amount, i.e., the principal amount of the Accepted Note for which such calculation is being made. In no case shall the Delayed Delivery Fee be less than zero. Nothing contained herein shall obligate any Purchaser to purchase any Accepted Note on any day other than the Closing Day for such Accepted Note, as the same may be rescheduled from time to time in compliance with paragraph 2B(7).
Crane means any self-propelled vehicle to which has been permanently mounted or attached any crane, whether or not such vehicle was originally a truck, tractor, or other type of motor vehicle or was designed and built as a complete crane unit. However, the word "crane," as herein defined, shall not be construed to mean any truck or other vehicle equipped with or to which has been affixed any device used for the purpose of providing a means for towing other vehicles.
Apple means Apple Inc., a California corporation with its principal place of business at Xxx Xxxxx Xxxx Xxx, Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx 00000, U.S.A.
HCP means a Habitat Conservation Plan prepared pursuant to § 10(a)(2)(A) of the ESA (16 U.S.C. § 1539(a)(2)(A)).
Pioneer or the "Company" means Pioneer Natural Resources Company and its subsidiaries.
Bay means parking bay;
dBA means sound pressure level measured on the "A" weight scale in decibels.
RFB means this Request for Bids and any addenda hereto.
MC means Measurement Canada, an Agency of Industry Canada.
Gas Corporation means the body corporate established by section 4 of the Gas Corporation Act 1994;
Ecology means the Washington State Department of Ecology.
MD has the meaning ascribed to such term in the Preamble.
Acquisition Corp. shall have the meaning given to such term in the preamble to this Agreement.
Growler means any refillable, resealable container complying with federal law.
First Chicago means The First National Bank of Chicago in its individual capacity, and its successors.
PEBB means the public employees benefits board.
