New IP definition
New IP shall have the meaning set forth in Section 11.1 hereto.

New IP means any IP commercially released on or after April 1, 2014 that is not Existing IP. Sequels and subsequent Individual Releases of New IP occurring after April 1, 2014 shall qualify as New IP for purposes of this Agreement.
Examples of New IP in a sentence
Recipient shall, and shall cause its Affiliates to, use such Background IP and New IP solely for purposes of receiving the Services from Provider, except as otherwise expressly permitted pursuant to a written agreement between the Parties or their respective Affiliates.
If and to the extent that any new Intellectual Property is developed by Provider in the performance of this Agreement or the provision of the Services hereunder (excluding, for clarity, any Background IP of either Party or its Affiliates, the “New IP”), Recipient will own any Recipient Content included in the New IP, and Provider will otherwise own all New IP, in each case unless otherwise provided in an SLA.
More Definitions of New IP
New IP means all NEW KNOW-HOW and all patents, patent applications, copyrights, trade secrets and other intellectual property rights pertaining to NEW KNOW-HOW.
New IP means any and all Patents claiming any inventions conceived (a) solely by Flagship Management or jointly by Flagship Management and Company, (b) after the Launch of the Company, and (c) as a result of activities conducted pursuant to the Managerial Agreement or other participation of Flagship Management in Company’s affairs (e.g., through participation in Company’s board of directors), all of the foregoing solely to the extent such Patents do not constitute Foundational IP. Patents within the New IP are set forth on Exhibit B, which Exhibit may be updated from time to time by the Parties.
New IP means all Intellectual Property Rights created by the Student in the course of or arising from the conduct of the Placement. New IP does not include copyright in the Student’s Thesis or any Intellectual Property Rights the Student might create or develop outside the scope of the Placement;
New IP means any and all new intellectual property rights (a) arising in the course of use, practice and/or exploitation of the license rights granted to Licensee under this Agreement (including but not limited to information, know-how, data, designs, methods, processes, techniques, materials, formulae, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents and patent applications and other proprietary information), (b) identified, developed, generated or obtained by Licensee or its Sublicensees, and (c) related to Licensed Patents, Licensed Technology or Licensed Products. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that “New IP” does not include Trademarks as defined in Section 1.14 and that the Trademarks and trade dress of Licensee, related copyrightable material, domain names, used on and/or in connection with any of the Licensed Products whether used on Products, packaging, labeling, advertising, sales promotion materials, or otherwise are and shall remain the ownership of Licensee.
New IP means Patents and Know-How developed, conceived or generated pursuant to the Collaboration after the Effective Date, by or on behalf of either Party or its Affiliates, or by or on behalf of both Parties or their Affiliates jointly.
New IP means all Intellectual Property of ITI, and the unique assets and Intellectual Property developed by ITI in its performance of the Development Services, including, without limitation, the Solution and all associated Intellectual Property Rights therein.
