New Index. - shall mean the Index last published before actual payment under this guarantee.

New Index. Interpretation regarding each payment of Rentthe known index on the date specified for execution of that payment, or on the date of its actual execution, whichever is higher. If, on the date of actual payment of any one of the payments of Basic Rent, the New Index is higher than the Base Index, the payment in question will be increased according to a ratio which corresponds to the rate of increase of the New Index relative to the Base Index. If, on the actual payment date of any one of the rent payments, the New Index will be equal to or lower than the Base Index, the payment in question will remain unchanged.
