New claim definition

New claim means a claim filed by an individual to establish eligibility for a new benefit year.
New claim means a claim for unemployment compensation benefits filed in person at an unemployment insurance a field office, or other location designated by the commission, by an individual who does not have an existing benefit year established.
New claim means any Incident, Indemnity, or Medical Claim that is either (i) newly reported as a new injury or illness arising out of and in the course of employment, or (ii) a Claim that is reopened.
