Network License definition

Network License means a floating license that can be used by any computer that has access to a particular network server. A Network License is issued as a set of two (2) license files, including: a server license file that resides on the network server, and a client license file that is installed on each computer in order to access that server.
Network License has the meanings set out in section 3.5.
Network License is a license to: (a) install the Software on any Devices connected to a Network onto which the license management tool has been deployed; and (2) use the Software on up to the Permitted Number of Devices and/or with the Permitted Number of Users as reported by the license management tool.

Examples of Network License in a sentence

  • Any network (floating) license acquired by Customer hereunder shall be deemed a Local Network License, unless it is expressly identified in the Order Schedule as a “Country” or “Regional” Network License.

  • Network (the “Network Benefits”) on a non-exclusive basis for a period of twelve (12) months following the Effective Date of this Agreement (the “Initial Network License Term”), subject to Licensee’s right to renew the License as set forth herein.

  • In addition to any other restrictions set forth herein, Software licensed under a Network License may only be accessed or used by Authorized Users in the country where the Installation Site is located.

  • If Customer acquires a Network License, access to and use of the Software will be controlled by the Customer Computer(s) (license server(s)) and Authorized Users may access and use the Software on machines served by the license server, provided that access to and use of the Software at any one time does not exceed the number of floating licenses acquired by Customer for that Software.

  • Network License Server (“NLS”): VISUAL provides You with a network license server that manages the use of network licenses.
